Last year, veteran CBC journalist Bill Gillespie joined the labour movement to take a stand against Tim Hudak’s plan to institute “right to work” legislation, making the film Made in the USA: Tim Hudak’s Plan to Cut Your Wages. In the film, Gillespie travels south of the border to discover the real impact of “right to work” laws on working people.
On February 21st, Tim Hudak announced that he was dropping “right to work” from his platform.
Don’t miss this chance to see the documentary, and participate in a Q&A with Gillespie, where he will talk about why he decided to make this film, and provide a behind-the-scenes account of how this film had an impact on Hudak’s plans.
